Low-Cost Spay/Neuter

We partner with PetFix of Ohio to provide low cost spay/neuter for Ashtabula County residents.

Cats

​Clinics are by appointment only. You will be required to pre-register using the form below and pay in advance. Once your form is submitted and processed, a Clinic Coordinator will contact you with the final price of your visit. Reservations will are not confirmed until payment for the services are received.  

PetFix transport will arrive at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League located at 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, OH 44004. Drop off will be by 7:30 am the day of your clinic and pickup will be between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. Cats must be fasted (nothing to eat or drink) starting at midnight the day of surgery.

Payments are not refundable; no refund for missed appointments. There is $10 Administrative fee to the ACAPL for coordination of the appointment. 

Your cat MUST be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination, and you must provide proof (in the form of a rabies certificate signed by a Veterinarian) of current rabies vaccination with your pet. Otherwise, your cat will receive the rabies vaccine at the time of surgery for an additional cost of $6.

Dogs
